Lacemaker's Lace

I developed the design for this collar from a sheet of marbled patterned gift paper and used a variegated cotton Perle (No. 8) thread for the swirls of colour within each motif. Instead of a solid button hole cordonnette, I felt that the design needed a softer edge to it so I used a narrow silk ribbon to give the looped effect.
